It was such a long time we didn’t have fun with parents so my husband and I prepared a “Taiwan family trip” with my parents. My mom was keen to back to Taiwan because she studied in Taipei for her university. We took MRT and started our “Taipei private tour” from my mom’s university. She said that Taipei changed a lot and became more convenient and youthful compared to her student time. We went to a well-known Taipei 101、CKS Memorial Hall and tried a variety of fruit. Taiwan’s fruit is world-famous because it is sweet with high quality, we had mango shaved ice too, so delicious.
Since we lived in Northern Taiwan, we decided to discover the Northern coast and Jiufen area. We joined a Jiufen tour to the lively, but away from the hustle and bustle of Taipei. Although Jiufen’s weather was not ideal at all because of the effect of typhoon but it couldn’t cover the beauty of this place. The scenery around Jiufen area was so beautiful that we decided to have dinner in a tea house and immerse in its eye-catching night view at night.

Ruifang was a district easy to love, the district felt modern yet in touch with its past. We loved the drive to “Jinguashi 13 Ruins”, it looked like an old town on the hill but actually used to be a factory before. When we visited there, the sea breeze brought fresh air and the surrounding hills were perfect for a picture-perfect Taiwan tour. Taking a boat to get a closer look to at the “elephant nose stone” was still vivid in our memory too!
