Tour Overview
Pickup and drop-off from your Taipei hotel. It's about 1 hour drive from Taipei to Yilan. First we will go to Yilan San Sing Green Onion, and you can join a scallion pastry DIY workshop to learn how to make it and taste this delicious treat. Visiting the famous Kavalan whisky distillery, and National Center for Traditional Arts. Our last attraction on this tour is the Meihua Lake, known for its beautiful surroundings and a natural reservoir.
What to Expect
- Private Yilan one day tour.
- We can pick you up (and drop-off) from Hotel. We have private local tour guide who can speak English. First, we will go to Yilan San Sing Green Onion Culture Palace (三星青蔥文化館), known for its rich agricultural produce, including high-quality spring onions. You can join a scallion pastry DIY workshop to experience and taste this delicious treat!
- We recommend the Taiwanese style kiln-roast chicken for your lunch (lunch not included in tour). In the afternoon, we would visit Kavalan Distillery, recognized for producing Kavalan single malt whisky, which has gained international acclaim and popularity.
- Visiting the National Center for Traditional Arts to explore a range of exhibitions, and interactive activities that highlight the rich heritage of Taiwanese traditional arts. After NCTA, we would head to the beautiful Meihua Lake to enjoy strolling along the lakeside promenade, and taking in the serene atmosphere.
