What to Expect
  • Day1:Taroko National Park
  • Qingshui Cliff: Rising straight up for 1000 meters from the Pacific Ocean, and stretching more than 20 km, Ching-shui Cliff is one of the eight wonders in Taiwan. The blue of the ocean is so breathtaking that you will never forget.
  • Shakadang Trail:You can see the Crystal-clear water following through the river bed and hear the murmur of the creek echoing in the valley. The wrinkles on the bare rock reveals a masterpiece of nature. Together they make an outdoor gallery for you to enjoy.
  • Baiyang Trail:The trail was established along the river. If you love the grand stunner, you can see the torrent surging in the canyon; if you love the subtle beauty, you can observe the stream gently flowing down the mountain. At the end of the trail lies the Cave of Water Curtain. The water curtain makes the attraction so mysterious that numerous tourist come here to uncover the veil of the belle.
  • Yanzihkou Trail:Visitors can observe the pothole eroded by the river. Through the elevation of the plate, the potholes which were under the water became the habitat where the swallows live.
  • Jiuqudong:is the essence of Taroko. The wrinkles on the rock tells the legend of how Taiwan was born through the consistent squeezing between Philippine Plate and Eurasian Plate.
  • Day2: Aboriginal Culture Experience
  • Shitaiping: With the sea and the wind shape the area into various formation, Shitaiping features as marine terrain classroom. The clear, warm sea water attracts lovely habitants to dwell here. Therefore you can see colorful fish swimming around the coral reef.
  • aboriginal hunter school: Here the friendly local will take you to see the beauty of Pacific Ocean by floating on the raft. If you are fans of “Hunger game ”,don’t miss the course of bow shooting. In the tribe you can learn the unique way to do the fishing and do some handicraft to make your own bracelet.
  • Hualian Night Market: The only aborigine-themed night market. Foodies can have all the collection of tribal foods and drinks. If you are too full to eat, you can even enjoy the local performances in the night market.
  • Day3:Traditional Folk Culture ExperienceNational Center of Traditional Arts: In this park you can see a full vision of Chinese folk life, the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and its renovation.Kavalanwhisky Factory: The fragrance of Kavalanwhisky has been spread worldwide and intoxicated millions of people. In the factory you can savor the mellow Kavalan Whisky and coffee and take a look at the procedure of whiskey-making.
