Aug, 20th, 2019 we arrived in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. As my experience before, Taipei’s weather was just like Singapore, wet, hot and humid. But this time was different, we met comfortable weather with winds and I traveled with my huge family, my two daughters、my husband、my parents and my parents-in-law. In order to travel with seven people, we rent a small bus for our Taipei day tour for the first day. The driver was kind and professional he told us where to eat special foods and visit lots of nice places just known by local Taiwanese during our Taiwan family trip.

On the second day, we chose to make a visit to the popular destination in New Taipei City called Jiufen. We heard this name many times because people of Singapore also love to enjoy tasty tea in Jiufen’s tea houses and walk around Jiufen’s unique old streets. I knew we would like it before we came here, and we truly loved it! The pace here is slower than Taipei, we felt so peaceful. My parents-in-law stunned by sunset and so many beautiful souvenirs of the mountain city, and we were happy too. In fact, we didn’t expect too much before we came to Taiwan this time but we were attracted by Taiwanese ethnic and cultural diversity.
