The Pier-2 Art Center

Fo Guang Shan

Here you will find the biggest Buddhist center of South Taiwan. The architecture of the temples is very characteristic, and at the southeastern side of Fo Guang Shan Monastery, the most prominent landmark of the region is found: a huge golden statue of Buddha Amitabha which measures some 120 meters. The main square is surrounded by 480 standing Buddha’s, while water and mountains from the magnificent scenery.

National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium

Located in Kenting National Park, the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium is Taiwan’s largest marine ecology display center. The museum has three main exhibitions. Waters of Taiwan, Coral Kingdom, and Waters of the World. Visitors can sleepover in the aquarium with the fish and aquatic life swimming around.

From Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) to Taipei City

Taoyuan International Airport is actually in the city of Taoyuan, not Taipei.

How to get to Taipei City from Keelung Port with kids?
